Lily has been adamant that we remember she is not “just” four years old; she is four and a half! I’ve forgotten how much that “half” matters when you are little and in such a hurry to grow up. She is such a helper around the house and loves to do extra things for me to earn pennies. She cleans windows and mirrors more thoroughly than I do, she listens for Grace to wake up from naps, pulls weeds (and pretty flowers), and puts away her laundry. Last month she wanted a new pair of flip-flops and was able to pay for them all by herself! It helped that they were on clearance for 37 cents. She is always make-believing, dancing, and singing. She brings such a happy atmosphere to our home!
