Two puppies? Too many.

In April we said goodbye to Canela and took her to live with my parents. I think we will someday get a play mate for Cayenne, but having two large puppies and three small children in a very small house just doesn’t work for us right now. The last week that we had both puppies, we separated their kennels. I was worried they would cry for each other, but Canela seemed very relieved to have her own space.


The drive to Utah was horrific: Nel threw up 4 or 5 times and was so unhappy in the car. We won’t be driving a dog that distance ever again! First thing she got was a bath. We’re all so happy that she loves her new home!
